Bridgit - UKC CH Indelible Valentijn 1st
Arkas
Bridgit is the newest addition to our Bouv crew.
She was born October 7, 2005 and she came home to us the end of November at 7
weeks old.
From day one, Bridgit has shown that she has spunk and
personality. Her extremely expressive face is only one of the reasons why
we decided on picking her over her litter mates.
Our 4.5 hour trip home from the breeder's went very
well. Bridgit laid in her borrowed crate (Buddy's, the cat's, crate) and
snoozed most of the trip. Once home, she inspected her new home and
greeted both Quin and Lacey fearlessly. Quin didn't really know what to do
with a little ball of fluff, but before the weekend was through, Lacey had
adopted Bridgit.
Lacey and Bridgit stayed together constantly.
Where ever Lacey was, Bridgit wasn't far away.

Between bouts of playing with
Lacey, Bridgit would take power naps. Typical puppy! |

Snoozing or playing, Bridgit
was always a cutie. |

As a young puppy, Bridgit desperately wanted to
play with the big dogs in the snow but never worked up the nerve to step
into deep snow. :o) |
Once Bridgit hit about 3 months old, Quin finally
realized that the "ball of fluff" was another dog and they've now started
playing together. It still has to be on Quin's terms but it's very amusing
to watch him roll over on his back for her to climb on him.
Bridgit experienced her first dog show in May 2005.
She was just a week past her seven month old birthday. We were only going
for exposure. We'd go, play around, introduce her to the
sites/sounds/smells and come home. Bridgit had other ideas. She
trooped in there like she'd been doing it all her life. In the end, we
came home with three Group 2 placements, a Group 3 placement, and a new UKC
Championship. What an amazing little puppy!!
